  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and clinical pathology.
  • Ensure timely and accurate analysis, documentation, and reporting of test results.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Oversee inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and biosafety protocols.
  • Monitor and validate testing processes and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., NABL, ISO).
  • Mentor and guide junior lab technicians and trainees; conduct skill development sessions when needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
