Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled PHP Developer to join our team in Mohali. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. You should be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy dynamic web applications using PHP and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Manage and optimize database performance (MySQL or other databases).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
  • Work with the development team to implement new features and functionality.
  • Ensure applications are responsive and meet web standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development.
  • Write technical documentation and provide technical support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, or is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Experience with third-party APIs and payment gateways integration.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
