Job Description

Brief:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused QA Intern to be part of our Quality Assurance team. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career testers who have completed training in software testing and are eager to kickstart their QA career.

As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards before it reaches our users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and scripts for websites and applications.
  • Perform manual testing to identify bugs and usability issues.
  • Log defects clearly, including steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results.
  • Assist in regression, smoke, and sanity testing during release cycles.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Document test results and prepare QA reports.
  • Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
  • Support the QA team in tool evaluations, POCs, and contribute to improve test processes.
  • Stay updated with QA methodologies, tools, and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Work experience: 0–6 months
  • Training from a Software Testing Institute or relevant certification.
  • Basic understanding of SDLC & STLC.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of test automation or scripting (Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing certification
