Role Objective:

To lead and oversee all financial and accounting functions of the liquor import and distribution business, ensuring compliance with excise laws, international trade regulations, taxation norms, and financial reporting standards.

The role demands strong expertise in managing complex taxation, foreign exchange, import documentation, and financial controls while supporting business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities: ---

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team across HO and regional offices.
  • Build strong internal controls and SOPs for finance operations
  • Responsible for managing Costing, Pricing and Cost card.
  • MIS and financial reporting to the top management.
  • Should have handled all India Excise policies and compliance.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models for imports, distribution, and marketing spends.
  • Manage working capital, cash flows, and foreign exchange risks.
  • Ensure compliance with excise laws, customs duties, GST, income tax, and international trade regulations.
  • Supervise accurate and timely preparation of MIS, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Handle statutory, internal, and excise audits.
  • Manage foreign remittances, LC (Letter of Credit), bank guarantees, and import-related payments.

Desired:-

Education: Chartered Accountants

Must have experience in Alcoholic Beverage, Import, Excise and Cost Card.
