Flexo Operator

Job Responsibilities:

Flexo Operator will posses a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press. Specific duties include:

• Setup: Installing printing plates, adjusting ink levels, calibrating rollers, and aligning the press based on the job requirements.
• Operation: Monitoring the printing process, making adjustments as needed to maintain color accuracy and print quality.
• Quality control: Inspecting printed materials for defects and ensuring they meet established standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during printing, like ink inconsistencies or misalignment.
• Material handling: Loading and unloading paper, film, or other substrates onto the press.
• Maintenance: Performing basic cleaning and upkeep of the printing press to prevent malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Must have at-least 1-3 years
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of printing processes
• Attention to detail and color perception
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
