Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in to design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in backend architecture, performance optimization, and mentoring junior developers while working closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs / GraphQL APIs
  • Ensure scalability, security and reliability of backend systems
  • Optimize application performance and database queries
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams
  • Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
  • Participate in system design, architecture decisions, and technical planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of backend development experience
  • Strong expertise in and backend frameworks / NestJS / Fastify)
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
  • Experience with databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Strong knowledge of API development, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
  • Experience with asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture (preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka)
  • Experience with unit testing & integration testing
  • Exposure to DevOps practices
  • Experience in high-scale or startup environments

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Leadership mindset with mentoring experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
