We are looking for a
Data Engineer
who is passionate about building robust data pipelines, handling large-scale datasets, and enabling data-driven decisions that shape the future of video streaming and digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Work with large-scale datasets in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and accessibility.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot data systems with minimal guidance.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including relational databases, NoSQL systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Contribute to video performance insights by analyzing data from CDNs, video analytics platforms, and QoS/QoE metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data pipeline development and troubleshooting.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills with Python.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge (complex queries, joins, optimization).
  • Experience with ETL/ELT development using distributed frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra).
  • Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Practical exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services such as Glue, EMR, Dataflow, or ADF.

Nice To Have (Good To Have)

  • Experience with real-time streaming tools like Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
  • Background in OTT platforms (VoD, live streaming, subscription systems).
  • Familiarity with video analytics tools (e.g., Matomo) for tracking audience engagement.
  • Understanding of QoS and QoE metrics (buffering ratio, start-up time, bitrate, playback failures).
  • Knowledge of CDN log analysis (Akamai, CloudFront, Fastly) for performance monitoring.
