Role Overview

The Key Account Manager will lead Waaree's business expansion on Amazon's U.S. marketplace, managing the end-to-end account for solar panels, inverters, accessories, and clean energy products. The role demands expertise in Amazon Seller Central, global marketplace strategy, and deep understanding of renewable product positioning for retail consumers.

The candidate will own the sales, P&L, operations, and brand visibility for Waaree on and collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and design teams to deliver an exceptional online experience aligned with Waaree's "Customer First" and "Get It Done" values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Growth Ownership

  • Drive Waaree's monthly and annual revenue targets on and Amazon Global.
  • Launch and scale new SKUs – panels, solar kits, inverters, cables, and accessories.
  • Plan and execute growth strategies for organic and ad-driven sales.
  • Optimize pricing, profit margins, and contribution per product.

2. Account & Relationship Management

  • Handle all Amazon Seller Central operations (listings, orders, FBA inventory, returns, payments).
  • Build and maintain relationships with Amazon category managers and support teams.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Amazon's energy product regulations (UL, CE, BIS, etc.).
  • Coordinate with U.S. warehousing and logistics partners for smooth replenishments.

3. Marketing & Content Optimization

  • Develop high-converting product pages with A+ content, infographics, videos, and comparison charts.
  • Implement SEO keyword research, backend search terms, and customer review strategies.
  • Manage the Waaree Brand Store and ensure consistency with global brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal design team for banner, PPC, and seasonal campaign creatives.

4. Advertising & Promotions

  • Plan Sponsored Ads (PPC), deals, and coupons to maximize visibility and conversion.
  • Manage ACoS and TACoS through continuous optimization and keyword tracking.
  • Run product-specific campaigns during Black Friday, Prime Day, and holiday seasons.

5. Data Analytics & Insights

  • Track daily sales, sessions, conversion, and inventory health.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review.
  • Benchmark competitors (Renogy, EcoFlow, Jackery, etc.) and recommend actionable insights.
  • Analyze customer feedback and ratings to enhance product features and packaging.

6. Inventory & Operations

  • Plan demand forecasts for each SKU to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Coordinate with factory, logistics, and warehouse teams for Amazon FBA shipments.
  • Manage returns, replacements, and order defect rate (ODR) metrics.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / MBA (Marketing, International Business, or E-Commerce).
  • 3–7 years of experience in managing (U.S.) or other global e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Proven record of scaling sales for technology, energy, or consumer durable products.
  • Familiar with U.S. compliance norms for solar / electrical devices preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, FBA, and PPC.
  • Strong command of Excel, Google Sheets, and analytics dashboards.
  • High ownership, entrepreneurial attitude, and "Get It Done" mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with cross-team coordination ability.
  • Data-driven and growth-oriented with a sharp focus on results.
