Urgent Hiring: Shift Engineer /Shift In charge Jharsuguda, Odisha

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC systems, AC drives, and instrumentation devices.
  • Replace or repair faulty components.
  • Ensure availability of critical electrical spares.
  • Support shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities.
  • Identify root causes of electrical faults.
  • Execute quick corrective actions.
  • Manage breakdown analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor power distribution, control Panel and automation System.
  • Analyse trends to predict potential failures.
  • Implement reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Verify electrical load balancing.
  • Optimize energy consumption.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares and escalate issues as required.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 3 year in a shift in-charge/supervisory role in a Rolling Mill or related industry

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of operations & safety protocols
  • Good leadership, communication & decision-making abilities
  • Capable of handling emergencies calmly and effectively
