We are hiring experienced
Power BI Engineer
t
o design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The role will involve gathering requirements, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and KPIs.
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Build data models using Power Query, DAX, and relational databases.
  • Optimize performance of reports and datasets for large-scale usage.
  • Integrate Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud services, etc.).
  • Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and security.
  • Provide end-user training and support for Power BI adoption.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI and Microsoft Data Platform features.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Power BI.
  • Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in creating measures, KPIs, and drill-through dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to provide business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED Or GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience with Azure Data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataverse).
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for extended use cases.
  • Experience in RLS, data security, and governance frameworks.
  • Microsoft Certification: PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate).
  • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
