Job Title: Civil Structural Engineer

Location: Mumbai / Kochi

Experience Required: 6-7 Years (Minimum 6 years in BIM for Structures)

Industry: Engineering / Construction / BIM

Job Overview

We are looking for highly skilled Structural BIM Modelers to join our team in Mumbai or Kochi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural BIM modeling, excellent interdisciplinary coordination capabilities, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires proficiency in industry-leading BIM tools, solid knowledge of concrete and steel structures, and a deep understanding of BIM standards and rebar detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

  • Develop detailed 3D structural models including columns, beams, slabs, walls, foundations, staircases, and rebar.
  • Use BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC, and BIM 360 to produce accurate and coordinated models.
  • Perform interdisciplinary coordination with Architecture, MEP, Facade, etc.
  • Conduct clash detection across multiple disciplines and generate reports.
  • Maintain BIM models in accordance with LOD requirements and BIM standards.
  • Interpret and incorporate structural design codes and standards.

Technical Skills

  • Rebar detailing of all structural elements.
  • Strong understanding of concrete and structural steel systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of parametric modeling and creating intelligent BIM objects.

  • Adhere to 9E QHSE policies and ensure compliance with local regulations.

  • Report any incidents to the QHSE department and legal authorities if required.
