Data Dev/Engr With Excellent Communication Skills

Core Skills Required (intermediate to advanced):

  • SQL programming

  • Creating tables, views, stored procedures

  • Creating and scheduling jobs

  • ETL / API development

  • Data file staging and processing

  • Data transformations
  • API concepts

Other Skills Preferred (beginner):

  • Datawarehouse concepts: fact and dim objects
  • Data performance: indexing, query tuning
  • Data security: masking, scrambling
  • Data testing and troubleshooting: running test scripts, debugging
  • Data documentation: object definitions (table, attribute)

Tools and Applications:

  • SQL server and SSMS (must have)
  • MS development suite (must have: Visual Studio, Team Foundation)
  • Oracle DB (preferred to have)
  • Azure (nice to have)
  • Languages: C#, Java

Work Environment:

  • 100% Work From Home. Work hours will be 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST (includes 1 hour break)
  • Be available at least 2 to 3 days a week to work during business hours US Pacific or Central time for at least 2 to 4 hours each day.
  • The candidate will work with other team members so having good to great communication skills is preferred
  • The candidate will take direction from the team on tasks, timelines, and deliverables and will chunk work in sprints
