Objectives of the role:
  • Technically own the core investment management and analysis systems of DSP (Namely : Bloomberg AIM, EMSX & Port, mPower and other support systems
  • With strong functional knowledge on capital market domain challenge the users on the approach for the long term direction of the DSP systems.
  • Defining project scope, approach, deliverables, coordinating with the business and IT team for issues and up gradations in the applications.
  • Document the business requirement and coordinate with the vendor for development, test and production move
  • Service Quality check in line with Software Requirement Specification and Business Requirement Scope.
  • Experienced in application support and development.
  • Holding review meetings to monitor progress of the project as per schedule and ensuring timely completion and delivery of the project.
  • Ensuring timely escalation to Senior Management regarding issues impacting business and providing possible solutions to address the concerns.
Skills required for the role:
  • Must have full life-cycle experience in large, multi-tiered application & systems, preferably in Capital market.
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), having through understanding of various phases like Requirements, Analysis/Design, Development and Testing
  • Business Process Documentation skill
  • Hands on in development of business applications
  • Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and oral.
  • Self-starter and can persistently follow-up.
Experience:
  • 9 to 15 years in financial services industry 
Qualifications:
  • Any engineering degree with CFA/MBA
