About the Role

We're seeking a full-stack developer to build and maintain modern web applications using .NET on the backend and MongoDB as our primary data store, with a modern JavaScript framework on the frontend. You'll collaborate with product, design, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable, and observable features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services with ASP.NET Core (.NET 6+; .NET 8 preferred)
  • Model, query, and optimize data in MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation, transactions)
  • Build responsive, accessible UIs with React or Angular, TypeScript, and modern CSS
  • Write automated tests (unit, integration, API, and basic E2E) and participate in code reviews
  • Monitor and troubleshoot in production using logging, metrics, and tracing
  • Containerize and deploy services (Docker); collaborate on CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies; refine requirements with product and stakeholders
  • Contribute to documentation and lightweight design specs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years professional software development experience, including:
  • C# and ASP.NET Core building REST APIs
  • MongoDB schema design, performance tuning, and data migrations
  • Frontend development with React or Angular, TypeScript, and state management
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD, writing testable code, and code reviews
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and basic networking/http fundamentals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with message brokers/streaming (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL)
  • Domain-Driven Design, CQRS/event sourcing exposure

  • Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, minimal APIs, Entity Framework Core
  • Data: MongoDB (Atlas), MongoDB .NET/C# driver, Redis
  • Frontend: React or Angular, TypeScript, Vite/Webpack, Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress
  • DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, Azure App Service/Containers, Application Insights
