Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer to manage and optimize databases, primarily Oracle, along with MongoDB/MariaDB. The role involves database design, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity, availability, and security. You will collaborate with developers and system admins to support critical applications and provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain database systems.
  • Monitor performance, capacity, and security of databases.
  • Troubleshoot issues, apply fixes, and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Perform backups, archival, and maintain documentation.
  • Mentor junior DBAs and support production environments.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 8+ years IT experience, 3+ years in database engineering/admin.
  • Strong Oracle admin experience in production.
  • Exposure to MongoDB/MariaDB.
  • Expertise in Oracle cluster, SQL/NoSQL, and Linux admin.
