Job Title: Product Owner
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team and work closely with one of our key e-commerce clients. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, driving product success by clearly articulating business needs and ensuring delivery of high-quality, valuable features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and stakeholders to ensure the development team fully understands the business context.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.
- Participate actively in product roadmap discussions, release planning, and prioritization sessions with the client.
- Facilitate and contribute to workshops, stakeholder meetings, and sprint planning sessions.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA to ensure smooth and efficient product delivery.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends, user behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce domain.
- Strong experience in requirement elicitation, stakeholder management, and working in agile environments.
- Excellent ability to write detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to convey complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, design, marketing).
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose scalable solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2C or B2B e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Certification like CSPO, PSPO, CBAP or equivalent is a plus.
