The Shri Ram Wonder Years, Noida Sector 35 is looking for an energetic and organized School Librarian to join our academic team and foster a love for reading, research, and lifelong learning among our students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about literacy, skilled in information management, and able to create a welcoming, resource-rich environment that supports both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining library materials.
  • Assist students and teachers in locating and using resources for learning and research.
  • Promote reading through book clubs, reading challenges, author visits, and engaging displays.
  • Teach students how to access and evaluate information, including digital literacy and research skills.
  • Curate a diverse, inclusive, and age-appropriate collection of print and digital resources.
  • Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs and integrate library resources into classroom instruction.
  • Maintain accurate records of library inventory, checkouts, and overdue items.
  • Ensure the library space is safe, organized, and conducive to study and exploration.
  • Stay current with trends in literature, educational technology, and school librarianship.
  • Uphold and enforce library policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field (Master's in Library and Information Science preferred).
  • Prior experience working in an educational setting is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in library management systems and digital learning tools.

Job Type: Full-time
