VMC & HMC Programmer:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for
  • Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)
  • and
  • Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC)
  • using G-code/M-code
  • Machine Setup & Operation:
  • Set up VMC/HMC machines for trial and production runs.
  • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
  • Conduct prove-outs and validate first-off parts.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Reduce setup time and improve cycle efficiency.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques like 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
  • Use gauges and inspection tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Collaborate with QA teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Documentation & Collaboration:
