Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Fragrance Evaluator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a highly developed olfactory sense, an understanding of fragrance families, and the ability to assess, compare, and guide fragrance development. You will work closely with perfumers, R&D teams, and marketing to evaluate fragrances that meet market trends, client expectations, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess fragrances at various stages of development with accuracy and consistency.
• Provide detailed olfactory feedback to perfumers and R&D teams to fine-tune fragrance formulations.
• Compare submissions against benchmarks, briefs, and market standards.
• Participate in panel evaluations and lead sensory assessment discussions.
• Monitor fragrance performance in different applications (fine fragrances, personal care, home care, etc.).
• Maintain detailed evaluation sheets, documentation, and olfactory records.
• Identify market trends, competitor launches, and emerging olfactive directions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to translate fragrance concepts into consumer-friendly language.
• Ensure fragrances comply with regulatory and safety guidelines (IFRA, local regulations, etc.).
• Assist in training junior evaluators or internal teams on olfactory basics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Fragrance Evaluator or in a sensory evaluation role.
• Exceptional olfactory skills with the ability to identify, distinguish, and describe fragrance notes accurately.
• Strong understanding of fragrance families, accords, and raw materials.
• Knowledge of IFRA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• High level of attention to detail and consistency in evaluation.

Preferred Attributes

• Formal training in perfumery or sensory science.
• Exposure to different fragrance product categories (fine fragrance, personal care, home care, incense, etc.).
• Strong market awareness and trend interpretation abilities.

Pay: ₹35, ₹65,000.00 per month
