Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Reel/Video Editor to join our team at Klickr. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in editing and crafting visually stunning and engaging short-form video content for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to transform raw footage into compelling reels that captivate and resonate with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble footage to create high-quality reels according to client specifications and project requirements
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and objectives of each project
  • Use your creative flair and storytelling skills to enhance the visual appeal and narrative flow of the reels
  • Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and other post-production techniques to enhance the overall quality of the videos
  • Ensure consistency in style, branding, and messaging across all edited reels
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and software in video editing and post-production
  • Collaborate with the video production team and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines
  • Manage and organize project files, assets, and video libraries for efficient workflow
  • Seek feedback from clients and incorporate necessary changes to deliver high-quality final products

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Reel Editor or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of post-production processes, including colour grading, audio mixing, and visual effects
  • Excellent creative and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • A portfolio showcasing your previous reel editing work is highly desirable
