We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• It's an Individual Contributor role and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead, define and implement best practices for test automation. Design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
• Creation of automated test scripts and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor and guide QA team members in test automation tools and techniques.
• Establish testing processes, including regression, performance & non-functional testing for all delivery streams.
• Understand complexities and dependencies with upstream and downstream systems.
• QA project and testing outputs, ensuring they have been reviewed and signed off by the appropriate groups prior to test execution.
• Establish feedback cycle to improve the testing process.
• Ensure test results and test logs maintain and meet programme or project audit requirements.
• Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
• Managing stakeholder communications and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong Functional and automation testing skills.
• Experience in QA management and delivering complex technology solutions.
• Extensive experience with test automation using Selenium and Cucumber automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as [Java/Python/Other Language] for writing test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or similar.
• Experience in leading testing for a project/module from establishing testing processes to execution and maintaining test log for audit purpose.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Experience in creating test plan for the tasks, dependencies to mitigate the risks to system quality.
• Experience in assigning task to team members and track the progress/support the team members where required.
• Experience of Agile delivery techniques, having delivered using Agile methodology in previous roles.
• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of REST API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.
