Job Description:

Objective for the Position :
Plan & ensure optimum utilization of Plant capacity & Manpower resources
Plan & ensure 100% adherence to Sales/Production plan (Packed product) for the month
Identify projects for Improvement in process efficiencies and implement the same
Ensure Safe workplace with healthy work culture

Job Description / requirements :
Area Expectations out of this role

Monthly Production Planning for
Bushing winding , Autoclave loading ,
OIP & RIP assembly

Plan monthly production as per sales plan and commit delivery
schedule as per plant capacity
Plan weekly /daily production schedule as per material availability
dates and resources
Review and plan for corrections in case of deviations in production
plan execution
Optimum utilization of manpower, machines ( Capacity ) and
monitoring and improve on it

Interdepartmental coordination

Coordinate with Purchase, Stores ,Quality, Engineering &
Maintenance, Design functions for required flow of information
/material for successful execution of plan

Production Systems & Processes

Ensure compliance to production systems as per ERP for stage
wise product movements, material requirements and confirmation
of FG
Ensure Production processes in manufacturing are operated as per
standard Work instructions/SOPs
Ensure departmental documentation & compliance to QMS & EHS
systems
Monitor & Improve processes wherever required for its best
results to reduce rework/rejections/deviations
Map the skill matrix for the team mates working in production as

Skill matrix & TNIs for the team

per process/activity requirements and identify training needs to
enhance their performances , monitor effectiveness

Team management & selection

Ensure proper deployment of manpower as per skill requirements
of the processes
Recruit & select suitable manpower wherever required as per
needs & approvals

Preferred Experience : 12-15 years of similar & relevant experience in electrical equipment,
Switchgear/transformer manufacturing industry. Experience in Transformer Bushing
Manufacturing and ERP exposure will be an added advantage.

Innovation & continuous
improvements

Identify Non value adding activities in the processes and initiate
improvement action to reduce it
Identify actions through rework/rejection , customer complaints
analysis and initiate actions through it

MIS & MRM

Data preparation & compilation for monthly production
performance for quality, quantity, utilization, improvement
projects, safety,etc.

NCR - CAPA & Effectiveness
Monitoring

Analyse NCR for In process & final product
defects/variations/rejections, identify RCA, implement CAPA &
monitor effectiveness of the improvements
