What role you will play in our team

This role provides technical support to the Global Medicinal & Occupational Health (MOH) team, with a strong emphasis on executing the Digital Strategy. The Data Analyst will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of databases and visualization tools using platforms such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI. The role ensures seamless integration across multiple data sources and supports access management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Additional responsibilities include transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize performance, and support data-driven initiatives. Significant interaction is expected with BL management, MOH Experts and Senior Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) Leadership.  This position is designed to further develop analytical skills and enhance the continued development of SSHE leadership.

Role & responsibilities

Data & Visualization Support

• Design, maintain, and enhance Global MOH databases and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure seamless integration across multiple data sources using SQL and Snowflake to enable comprehensive analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all implemented IT solutions to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

Reporting & Data Quality

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
• Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and measure performance.
• Present findings in a clear and compelling manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support data governance and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Automate data processes and reporting workflows where possible.

Process Improvement & Tool Development

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose scalable, effective solutions.
• Support the development of productivity and visualization tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate best practices into tool design and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance existing tools through regular updates, user feedback integration, and alignment with evolving security needs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of data analytics, relevant business or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with attention to detail and data integrity.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Snowflake for data querying, integration, and management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Power Point and Excel)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).; experience with Python or R is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of IT controls, access management processes, and enterprise data governance standards.
• Proficiency in safety management software and tools and understanding of business operations in [industrye.g., retail, healthcare, finance, oil and gas].
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities.
