Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Head to oversee the complete financial operations, accounts management, compliance, and strategic planning for the Senwell Group of Companies. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of finance & accounts in the manufacturing/machining industry, hands-on experience in managing teams, proven expertise in handling Joint Ventures (JV), and direct reporting experience to top management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Strategy

• Lead and oversee the entire Finance & Accounts function across both companies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies, policies, and systems.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management to ensure financial stability.
• Manage banking relationships, funding, and financial negotiations.
• Handle Joint Venture (JV) financial planning, reporting, profit-sharing, compliance, and coordination with JV partners.

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure accurate and timely finalization of accounts, balance sheets, P&L, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly financial reviews.
• Handle statutory compliances including Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, ROC filings, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and company policies.
• Manage external and internal audits, liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities.

Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance & Accounts team across multiple locations.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Drive process improvements, ERP/financial systems implementation, and automation.
• Train the team for professional growth and strengthen internal financial controls.

Management Reporting & Coordination

• Provide regular MIS reports and financial insights to the Director/CEO for decision-making.
• Support the management with feasibility studies, cost analysis, and profitability reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Purchase, HR, Production, Operations) to align financial planning with business objectives.
• Act as a financial advisor to management on business expansion, investments, and risk management.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Finance, Accounts, Costing, Budgeting, Taxation, and JV Financial Management.
• In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing/Machining industry financial practices.
• Proven experience in Joint Venture handling, profit-sharing, JV audits, and partner coordination.
• Strong leadership, team handling, and mentoring experience.
• Practical knowledge of statutory compliance, audits, and ERP/Accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with top management and JV partners.

Qualification

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience in Manufacturing/Machining industries.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 12 to 20 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Major experience as a Finance Lead / Head role with strong team handling capabilities.
• Practical hands-on knowledge of end-to-end finance & accounts operations.
• Proven experience in handling Joint Ventures (JV) financials, audits, and reporting.
• Prior experience in reporting directly to Director/Owner/CEO.
