The Center for Multilateral Strategy and Diplomacy (CMSD) is a global think tank dedicated to advancing dialogue on international relations, global governance, and multilateral cooperation. With 20+ contributors and 3 Senior Advisors from 10+ countries, CMSD brings together emerging scholars, researchers, and creative professionals to engage in impactful policy-oriented initiatives shaping the global order.

As part of our creative communications initiative, CMSD is seeking talented and driven individuals to join our international media team — transforming global policy discussions into visually engaging and accessible digital content.

Role Overview

CMSD invites applications for the position of Video Content Intern, focusing primarily on creating Instagram Reels and short-form video content. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about video editing, creative storytelling, and visual media production — not social media management.

The selected candidate will work closely with the communications and design teams to bring ideas to life through impactful, polished video content that reflects CMSD's mission and initiatives.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity suited for students or young professionals looking to gain hands-on creative experience while managing their academic or professional schedules.

Key Responsibilities


• Create and edit Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and motion graphics to showcase CMSD's projects, publications, and initiatives.


• Develop visually engaging videos that align with CMSD's communication goals and aesthetic style.


• Collaborate with the communications and research teams to visualize complex ideas through creative storytelling.


• Maintain visual consistency and high production quality across all videos.


• Stay updated on trends in short-form video formats, editing styles, and audience engagement.

Qualifications


• Students pursuing undergraduate studies in media, design, visual communication, film production, or related fields are encouraged to apply.


• Candidates from social sciences or international relations backgrounds with strong video editing skills are also welcome.


• Experience in editing Reels or short-form video content is essential.


• Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.


• Strong creative instincts, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.


• Interest in global affairs, public communication, and creative digital storytelling.
