Key Responsibilities

Azure Architecture & Platform Design

• Design and implement scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure.

• Architect solutions for .NET Core, microservices, APIs, and event-driven workloads.

• Define standards, patterns, and guardrails for multi-environment (Prod/QA/Dev) deployments.

• Design identity and access management solutions, networking models, storage strategies, and integration patterns.

Cloud Infrastructure Ownership

• Architect, optimize, and manage Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) components.

• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization across all environments.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks for proactive system health management.

DevOps, CI/CD & Environment Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for .NET applications.

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, or similar frameworks.

• Define and enforce deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, automated rollbacks).

• Oversee containerization and orchestration strategies using Kubernetes (AKS) or container apps.

Solution Governance & Delivery Support

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define scalable technical roadmaps.

• Conduct architecture reviews, solution assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Provide hands-on guidance to technical leads and engineering teams.

Performance, Security & Reliability

• Establish architecture for fault-tolerant and high-performance systems.

• Lead security best practicessecrets management, threat modeling, API security, network hardening.

• Optimize database, caching, and messaging layers for enterprise workloads.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong architecture experience across Azure App Services, AKS, Functions, APIM, VNet, Key Vault, Storage, AAD, Monitor.

• Deep understanding of .NET Core, microservices, distributed systems, and API design.

• Expertise in DevOps automation, GitOps, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform/Bicep).

• Strong grounding in containers, Kubernetes, and production-grade orchestration.

• Experience with monitoring stacks, logging systems, and operational observability.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL systems, caching, and performance tuning.

Soft Skills

• Ability to confidently articulate solution direction and defend architectural decisions.

• Strong collaboration with executives, PMs, and engineering leads.

• Ability to mentor teams and uplift engineering maturity.

• Analytical mindset with a focus on scalability and long-term platform health.
