1. Curriculum Delivery and Lesson Planning
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Sanskrit lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus for Classes 3 to 8.
- Utilize NCERT textbooks and supplementary resources to build foundational language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Employ interactive and learner-centric teaching methodologies suitable for middle school learners.
2. Language Skill Development
- Facilitate development of core Sanskrit language skills: vocabulary building, grammar, sentence formation, and pronunciation.
- Encourage oral communication through conversations, recitations, and storytelling to enhance fluency and confidence.
3. Assessment and Evaluation
- Prepare and administer periodic tests, assignments, and examinations as per CBSE guidelines.
- Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support learning improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and submit timely reports.
4. Student Engagement and Motivation
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment to foster interest in Sanskrit language and culture.
- Organize and facilitate co-curricular activities such as Sanskrit shlokas, debates, quizzes, and cultural events to enhance learning.
- Provide remedial support to students requiring additional assistance.
5. Professional Development and Collaboration
- Participate in CBSE workshops, training programs, and professional development sessions to stay updated with pedagogical advancements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Sanskrit learning with other curricular areas and school activities.
6. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance records, lesson plans, and assessment documentation as per school and CBSE requirements.
- Engage in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Contribute to the school's academic environment through active participation in staff meetings and institutional activities.
