Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise daily rice milling, polishing, grading, and packing operations.
  • Maintain production and stock records (raw paddy, semi-finished and finished rice).
  • Monitor labour attendance, allocate daily work, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
  • Coordinate with machine operators, storekeepers, and quality department for smooth operations.
  • Ensure all safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the production area.
  • Report daily production data and issues to the Production Manager.
  • Check moisture, quality, and wastage levels in coordination with the lab/quality team.
  • Support management in maintaining cost control and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Good knowledge of rice milling and grading processes.
  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Ability to handle labour and coordinate between departments.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel / data entry preferred).
  • Honest, disciplined, and hardworking attitude.
