Position Title: Account Executive

Desired Profile

Education & Qualification

Minimum qualification: CA-Inter/IPCC qualified or CMA/CS Intermediate.

Candidates who have completed articleship from a recognized CA/CS/CMA firm.

Semi-qualified Chartered Accountants (not completed final exams) are highly preferred.

Professional Experience

2–4 years of experience working with a CA, CS, or CMA firm.

Strong exposure to accounting, taxation (direct and indirect), audit procedures, and regulatory compliance.

Experience in preparation and filing of:

GST returns, TDS returns

Income Tax returns (Individuals, Firms, and Companies)

Finalization of accounts

Bank reconciliation statements

Preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)

Key Skills

Accounting Software: Proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems.

Excel Proficiency: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas and data analysis.

Knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, ROC compliance (if experience is from CS firm).

Hands-on experience in handling statutory audits, tax audits, or internal audits (if from CA firm).

Good understanding of Books of Accounts, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations.

Soft Skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data.

Preferred Traits

Candidates who are not pursuing CA Final or have decided not to continue the CA course.

Willingness to work in a corporate or mid-size firm environment (outside the traditional CA firm model).
