Participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists.
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and training for junior dietitians, interns, and support staff.
Lead case reviews, team meetings, and continuing education sessions.
Oversee workload delegation and support staffing decisions as needed.
Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition protocols, guidelines, and best practices.
Lead quality improvement projects and audit nutritional services to ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Evaluate nutrition programs and recommend enhancements for patient outcomes and service efficiency.
Develop educational materials and deliver presentations for patients, families, and community programs.
Conduct workshops on lifestyle modification, therapeutic diets, and wellness initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations related to dietetics practice.
Participate in accreditation activities (e.g., JCI, NABH, NHS, etc. if applicable).
Assist or lead clinical nutrition research projects or data analysis.
Stay updated on emerging nutrition science, clinical guidelines, and professional standards.
Represent the department in hospital committees or professional forums.
