To attend to emergencies during and after working hours.
To demonstrate through understanding and applications of :
Aseptic techniques and procedures
Sterilization techniques and procedures
Equipment and supply processing
Infection control
To manage and coordinate activities related to the distribution of surgical supply items.
To maintain and upkeep all related equipment of the department.
To ensure proper work flow, work patterns are followed.
To ensure all legal and certification requirements are fulfilled.
To comply with the infection control parameters of MHC.
To generate departmental HIS.
To take active part in departmental quality & training initiatives.
To assist management in controlling cost, preparation of reports relating to product usage, instrument distribution, instrument loss and instrument replacement.
To adhere to company policies and practices on discipline & decorum
