- To attend to emergencies during and after working hours.
- To demonstrate through understanding and applications of :
- Aseptic techniques and procedures
- Sterilization techniques and procedures
- Equipment and supply processing
- Infection control
- To manage and coordinate activities related to the distribution of surgical supply items.
- To maintain and upkeep all related equipment of the department.
- To ensure proper work flow, work patterns are followed.
- To ensure all legal and certification requirements are fulfilled.
- To comply with the infection control parameters of MHC.
- To generate departmental HIS.
- To take active part in departmental quality & training initiatives.
- To assist management in controlling cost, preparation of reports relating to product usage, instrument distribution, instrument loss and instrument replacement.
- To adhere to company policies and practices on discipline & decorum
