Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 8-10 Years of experience in Interior Design, preferably in Retail Furniture/Showrooms/Galleries or Related Industries.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Manager to lead and oversee the design team in creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing retail furniture layouts and interiors. The role involves managing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, brand identity, and company standards.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership:

  • Develop creative and functional design concepts tailored to retail furniture showrooms.

  • Ensure designs reflect current trends, customer needs, and company vision.

2. Project Management:

  • Oversee multiple design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales.

3. Client Interaction:

  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and present design proposals.

  • Conduct site visits to assess space planning needs and ensure project alignment.

4. Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of interior designers and drafters.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs for team members.

5. Coordination with Production:

  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.

  • Address technical challenges and propose solutions during project execution.

6. Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all design deliverables meet company and industry standards.

  • Regularly update and maintain design documentation and materials.

7. Market Awareness:

Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and retail furniture innovations.

  • Research competitor designs and strategies for continuous improvement.

Skills Required:

1.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:
Expertise in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software.

2.
SOFTWARE:
Expertise in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and 3ds Max.

3.
KNOWLEDGE:
Familiarity with furniture manufacturing processes & materials is a plus.

  2. Attention to detail & creative problem-solving.

  3. Strong leadership & project management skills & client interactions.

  4. Strategic thinking & creativity.

  5. Ability to work under tight deadlines & manage multiple projects simultaneously.
