Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities related to civil works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives for smooth execution of work.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, method statements, and safety norms.
  • Review and verify contractors work progress, measurements, and bills (RA Bills).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, issues, and risks to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure quality control as per approved Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
  • Monitor material usage and ensure adherence to approved materials and mix designs.
  • Verify and maintain site records, drawings, test reports, and daily progress reports (DPR).
  • Identify deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented in coordination with the contractor.
  • Support project planning, execution, and handover activities.
  • Ensure statutory and safety compliance at the site.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, RCC, finishing, and infrastructure works.
  • Good understanding of IS codes, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and project documentation tools.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications:

  • BE / BTech in Civil Engineering.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
