Role and Responsibilities:
The Consultant - Data Engineer will play a fundamental role in designing, building, and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using AWS data and analytics services such as DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, and Glue. The role requires hands-on experience in utilizing AWS Management Tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail) to proactively monitor complex deployments. Additionally, the Consultant will need to demonstrate expertise in analyzing, re-architecting, and re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on AWS. The ability to develop and optimize existing processes using Advanced SQL, understanding complex python queries, implementing table partition mechanism, and conducting data issue analysis are essential for this role. The Consultant is also expected to lead client calls, deploy data pipelines using automated CI/CD approach, write production-ready code in Python, and participate in code reviews to maintain and improve code quality, stability, and supportability.
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data migration, data warehousing, AWS, SQL, and Python. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in delivering end-to-end data solutions, designing data warehouse/data mart, and identifying data issues and anomalies.
