We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Deputy Manager – SME Sourcing
to lead the identification, onboarding, and management of
freelance faculty/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for our BFSI training programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the BFSI domain, experience in faculty/vendor management, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and onboard freelance faculty and SMEs for various BFSI courses (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Capital Markets, etc.).
• Maintain and enhance a robust faculty database to meet ongoing and future delivery requirements.
• Ensure accurate records of faculty information, availability, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Manage all aspects of faculty engagement, including rate negotiations, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Align faculty sourcing with the learning objectives, timelines, and specific needs of internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure faculty are appropriately vetted for domain expertise, content delivery capability, and real-time availability.
• Drive TAT (Turnaround Time) adherence for all sourcing and onboarding activities.
• Lead a team of 2–3 members while also taking on individual contributor responsibilities when needed.
• Track delivery readiness and coordinate closely with content, delivery, and business teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics related to sourcing and delivery.
• Continuously identify and build a strong pipeline of qualified faculty in the BFSI domain
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or any related field (preferred).
•
7+ years of experience in SME/faculty sourcing, vendor management, or training operations – preferably in BFSI or corporate L&D.
• Demonstrated experience working with
freelance trainers/SMEs in BFSI domains.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and vendor coordination skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other data/reporting tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proven ability to manage teams and operate as an individual contributor as needed.
Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to BFSI learning and development programs.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital delivery tools.
• Experience working with BFSI subject experts or training partners.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from performance and engagement data
