Job Details

Job Summary:

The Workday Security Specialist will be responsible for leading, designing, and maintaining all security configurations within Workday. This role will require deep understanding and knowledge of business processes, security domains, and security groups. This role will also provide support for other HCM functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert on Workday Security
  • Lead in design, implementation, and management of security controls for Workday
  • Troubleshoot and respond to security incidents
  • Collaborate with other functional teams as needed to ensure successful implementation of security changes
  • Coordinate Workday updates and product releases for security, assessing impact to F&D
  • Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss progress and share best practices
  • Track and optimize utilization of Workday services currently purchased across HCM
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation across HCM

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Workday Security experience across HCM
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Workday security-including domain security policies and business process security policies
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Workday Security roles
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
