Overview: The Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant plays a critical role in the implementation and optimization of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions within the organization. This position requires advanced knowledge of Oracle's Human Capital Management (HCM) suite and its application in business environments. Successful candidates will work alongside clients and internal teams to gather requirements, configure the system according to best practices, and ensure that HR functionality aligns with organizational objectives. This role is essential in enhancing operational efficiency, improving employee experience, and ensuring data accuracy within the HCM framework. The Senior Consultant should possess a blend of technical acumen and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective solutions and maintain strong client relationships. The ability to navigate complex project landscapes while delivering successful outcomes is paramount. As a senior member of the consulting team, the individual is also responsible for mentoring junior consultants and leading project workstreams, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects from initiation to go-live.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to HR functions.
  • Configure Oracle HCM modules to align with client needs and industry best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications and documentation for system customization.
  • Support data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality meets specifications.
  • Provide training and user support to HR teams and stakeholders post-implementation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting functional issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with Oracle HCM Cloud features and enhancements for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and keep them informed about project progress.
  • Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to project planning and risk assessment activities.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings to support business process reengineering efforts.
  • Identify upsell opportunities for additional services within existing client accounts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional consulting for Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to configure various modules in Oracle HCM Cloud, including core HR, payroll, and talent management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
  • Experience in leading workshops and training sessions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications in HCM Cloud are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of integration with other Oracle Cloud applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and processes.
  • Understanding of reporting tools within Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
