Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Digital Process Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Data visualization through OCC, and data analysis, while also overseeing project documentation, cross-functional coordination, and supporting the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The role requires a deep understanding of Telecom IT infrastructure and extensive experience in business analysis, technical projects, and solutions architecture. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in customer journey mapping, process mapping, and ensuring effective communication across teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to articulate business requirements, project updates, and technical solutions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• RPA & Automation: Lead and support the development, implementation, and optimization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using tools like UI Path, Flow 360, Pega and / or similar applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports through Operations Command Center using advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Oracle DB, Tableau, etc.).
• Data Analysis: Analyze business data to derive insights that drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Project Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including business requirements, technical specifications, and system documentation.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with various teams, including business, IT, and external stakeholders, to ensure smooth project delivery.
• SDLC: Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
• UAT Support: Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and automation solutions.
• Pre/Post Design/Development: Contribute to both pre and post-development activities to ensure alignment with business goals and seamless implementation.
• Process Automation Success Rate: The percentage of processes automated successfully without errors or requiring manual intervention after deployment.
• Customer / Process Journey Mapping: Proficient in customer journey mapping and process journey mapping to analyze and optimize end-to-end experiences, identify pain points, and drive continuous improvement across digital and operational workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• B.Tech/B.E. in any discipline, or
• Postgraduate qualifications like MBA, MSc IT, or MCA.

Experience:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in the Telecom/IT sector, with hands-on experience in:
• Techno/Business Analysis
• Technical Projects
• SDLC
• RPA and Automation
• Data Analysis
• Strong understanding of Telecom IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Operations Command Center tools and AI-driven chatbots for automating processes such as Quote to Order, Provisioning & Activation, and Customer Service Management, with experience in Project Management for B2B clients.
• Strong knowledge of telecom wireline and managed networks, with a deep understanding of their architecture, operations, and service delivery models.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in RPA, Bot development, Data visualization and Automation tools such as UI Path, Flow 360, Pega and/or similar applications.
• Proficiency in Data Analysis & OCC including data extraction, transformation, and visualization techniques.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies.
• Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensuring project deliverables meet business needs.
• Expertise in Project Documentation: Ability to create clear and structured project documentation (requirements, specifications, etc.).
• Effective cross-functional coordination skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience with CRM/Project Management tools, Customer Journey & Process mapping.
• Ability to handle complex problem-solving and communication across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or ITIL certification (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Lean Six Sigma Black / Green belt certification (preferred, but not mandatory).
