Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with all indirect tax regulations, including GST and customs laws.
  • Oversee tax planning and strategize to optimize tax benefits for the organization.
  • Manage tax audits, assessments, and litigation processes effectively.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Provide expert advice on tax implications for business operations and transactions.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants as required.
  • Monitor updates in indirect tax laws and implement necessary changes within the organization.
  • Train and guide the internal team on indirect tax matters and compliance processes.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Indirect Taxation Lead should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect taxation laws, including GST and customs regulations.
  • Experience in managing tax audits and litigation processes.
  • Proficiency in tax planning and compliance management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
