AO Staff

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions including journal entries, AP, AR, payroll postings, and reconciliations
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with US GAAP
• Support family office accounting tasks such as investment postings, reconciliations, and preparation of capital statements
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect, organize, and validate financial information for reporting
• Provide documentation for audits and respond to information requests
• Participate in the setup of accounting systems and processes for new clients
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn by supporting Seniors and Managers in special projects and process improvements

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1+ years of accounting experience (internships or prior accounting roles preferred)

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and US GAAP

Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar)

Exposure to multi-entity accounting or investment reporting systems a plus

Preferred pursuing CPA or CMA certification
