Job opening for the role of Distribution Planner in our Distribution & Logistics department at Zydus, Ahmedabad.

Job Summary:The Planning Execution Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating various planning and execution activities within our supply chain. Key responsibilities include location-wise forecasting, hub tracking, managing pending orders, tracking shortages, coordinating with marketing, maintaining RSP (Retail Selling Price) alignment, and ensuring inventory management at CFAs (Carrying and Forwarding Agents) and hubs. The role also involves preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports for MPRM (Monthly Review Meeting) and coordinating with logistics for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Location-wise Forecasting:

  2. Maintain accurate location-wise availability.

  3. Analyse historical data and market trends to improve forecasting accuracy.

  4. Hub & Manufacturing Stock Tracking:

  5. Monitor and track inventory levels at hubs.

  6. Ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages.

  7. Pending Order Management:

  8. Track and manage pending orders at CFAs.

  9. Coordinate with relevant departments to expedite order fulfilment.

  10. Shortage Tracking:

  11. Identify and track product shortages at CFAs and hubs.

  12. Implement corrective actions to mitigate shortages.

  13. Coordination with Marketing:

  14. Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain RSP alignment and address additional RSP requirements.

  15. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution.

  16. Inventory Management:

  17. Manage inventory levels at CFAs and hubs to optimize stock availability.

  18. MIS Reporting:

  19. Utilize advanced Excel functionalities (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VBA) to analyse data and generate reports.

  20. Prepare and present MIS reports/presentations for monthly review meetings.
  21. Conduct data analysis and reporting.

  22. Demonstrate strong presentation skills.

  23. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the logistics team for timely delivery.

  24. Excellent knowledge in Excel and presentation.

  25. Forecasting and demand planning.
  26. Inventory management.
  27. Data analysis and reporting.
  28. Coordination and communication with marketing, demand, warehouse, and logistics teams.
  29. Problem-solving and decision-making.
