Manager - FP&A

• Lead the monthly, quarterly periodic close and forecast activities.
• Deliver monthly financial and analytical reports of business performance to management.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
• Summarize BU-wise financial results and laying down expectations to the operations and business teams.
• Performance reporting
• Oversee and prepare regular financial reports, including monthly/quarterly management reports, KPI dashboards, and financial - presentations for senior management.
• Monitor performance by tracking revenues, topline growth, price-margin, cost, working capital and cashflows.
• Develop and deploy effective metrics for enhancing productivity, savings and overall margins, profitability.
• Identify and implement innovative reports and tools including business analytics.
• Drive planning processes related to forecast, annual budget, and multi-year strategic plans.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop accurate and comprehensive budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor performance against targets, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Business partnering
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide financial guidance and support.
• Participate in decision making processes by providing financial analysis and evaluating the impact of initiatives.
• Be a partner to the commercial, services, operations and extended teams for tender analysis, service deliverables and driving growth targets.
• Vontier Business Systems
• Identify and drive continuous improvements through Kaizen.
• Controllership
• Ensure compliance and controls in FP&A.
• Lead integration projects into Vontier/GVR processes, in case of new acquisitions.

Education & Experience:

• Total Experience in years: 10+
• Graduation/ Degree: Bachelors / Graduate
• Post-Graduation CA/ICWAS - Mandate

Qualifications, requirements:
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

• Chartered Accountant with ten-fifteen years of overall experience in finance, accounting or controlling with at least three-five years of exposure to FP&A.
• Experience in manufacturing set-up and MNC background.
• Exposure to plant accounting, costing, audit, accounts finalisation and other areas of finance will be an added advantage.
• Should demonstrate strong financial acumen, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions.
• Highly analytical, data and detail-oriented with ability to make decisions and work autonomously.
• Sound knowledge of ERP and reporting systems (preferably, SAP and Hyperion).
• Advanced Excel skills, command over MS Office applications and affinity to make presentations, as and when required.
• Strong compliance orientation to Vontier core value, GAAP requirements, policies, SOX requirements.
• Excellent communication and people skills, ability to interact effectively with diverse levels and functions and build solid-long term relationships.
• Experience of managing teams with proven record in employee engagement
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical financial information to non-financial people.
