Job Summary
As an Architect specializing in Sitecore solutioning, you will provide critical technical leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle, focusing on complex enterprise-scale solutions.
This role is a blend of deep technical architecture and high-end client consulting, requiring 9 years in Microsoft technologies and 5 years of expert-level experience in Sitecore (certification required).
You will design customers digital solutions from concept to deployment, provide pre-sales support, and act as a crucial interface with global client technology and management teams.
Job Description :
Solution Architecture and Design Leadership :
- Lead technology consulting, defining the comprehensive solutions architecture and architectural frameworks for complex, enterprise-scale Sitecore solutions.
- Drive overall application design and architecture, including defining and optimizing functional and nonfunctional requirements such as application performance tuning, scaling, capacity management, and archiving.
- Gather detailed business requirements from clients and architect robust, innovative Sitecore/ .NET solutions based on those requirements.
- Provide detailed high-level and low-level solution design, taking engagements independently from conceptual architecture through to successful deployment.
- Define new architectures and be responsible for driving projects independently from an architectural standpoint.
Client Consulting and Pre-Sales Support :
- Serve as a primary technical interface with global clients, providing innovative Sitecore/ .NET solutions and strategic guidance.
- Participate in initial conversations with prospects and existing clients to clearly identify business and technical needs.
- Provide expert pre-sales support, effectively bridging customer business needs with a robust technology strategy and high-end solution offering.
- Create measurable value and ROI for the client, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the engagement.
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert to clients, attending conferences, publishing white papers, and contributing to online forums or blogs.
Technical Governance and Quality Assurance :
- Provide detailed estimates for technology work required across all project phases.
- Conduct mandatory Code reviews and implement quality gates to ensure the delivery of high-quality, architecturally sound deliverables.
- Be actively involved in developing Proof-of-Concepts (POC) and perform hands-on coding for critical integrations when required.
- Drive adherence to Sitecore best practices and leverage key features including Personalization and xDB, Search, versioning, pipelines, APIs, and internationalization.
- Possess knowledge of Information Security practices (ISMS) relevant to digital platforms (Good to have).
Team Development and Strategic Initiatives :
- Serve as an internal thought leader, continuously evaluating and proposing new ideas, technical standards, and internal processes.
- Lead and guide technology teams in the development of Intellectual Property (IP).
- Identify new areas of specialization and training for Sitecore resources and formally train internal personnel.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with technology partners.
- Maintain expertise by growing professionally through formal and informal training, remaining up-to-date with the latest technological advancements within and outside of the Sitecore ecosystem.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience : Mandatory 9 years of experience in Microsoft technologies and technical solutioning, with a proven track record across multiple CMS and web projects.
Sitecore Expertise : Mandatory 5 years of experience in Sitecore (Expert level) with proficiency in similar DXP products.
Certification : Sitecore certification required (MVP certification will be a PLUS).
Architecture : Extensive experience with Client/Server and N-tier Architectures and hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and supporting CMS based applications.
Development : 2 years of experience with interactive content design/development using MVC design pattern and Sitecore preferred).
Integration : Experience developing web applications that consume and/or generate XML and JSON/REST Web Services.
DXP Features : Experienced with Sitecore best practices and key features including Personalization and xDB, Search, versioning, pipelines, APIs, internationalization, etc.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of Sitecore DevOps practices.
- Experience with integration with CRM solutions (MS Dynamics or Salesforce preferred).
- Knowledge of ISMS (Information Security Management System).
