Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 7 to 10 years of experience in Spark Optimization Python and Apache Spark with a strong background in Asset and Wealth Management. The role involves developing and optimizing data solutions to enhance our asset management processes. The position is hybrid with no travel required and operates during day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Apache Spark to improve efficiency and performance in asset management workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data architectures that support business objectives.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that drive strategic decision-making in wealth management.
  • Implement best practices in Spark Optimization to ensure high-performance data processing and analytics.
  • Utilize Python programming to automate data workflows and enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and address any issues promptly.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices and tools within the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into existing processes.
  • Document technical designs processes and solutions to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in Spark Optimization and Apache Spark with a proven track record of successful implementations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming for data processing and automation tasks.
  • Have a solid understanding of asset and wealth management principles and practices.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Show ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
