Job Overview

Gamut HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager for a Full-Time position located in Hyderabad. This Senior-level role requires a candidate with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in cafe management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing all aspects of the cafe effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in inventory management systems (Mandatory skill) to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Exceptional customer service skills (Mandatory skill) to ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (Mandatory skill) to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Experience with staff scheduling software to efficiently manage employee shifts and labor costs.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for accurate and efficient transaction handling.
  • Barista skills to confidently prepare a variety of high-quality beverages.
  • Vendor management experience to build and maintain relationships with suppliers for quality and cost-effective goods.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting to effectively plan and manage the cafe's budget and financial performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth functioning and high standards of service.
  • Implement and monitor food safety and sanitation measures to maintain a clean and compliant environment.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely orders and minimal waste.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for optimal product quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Train and supervise cafe staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze financial reports to plan budgets, control expenses, and drive profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
