Senior Technical Specialist

As a Senior Technical Specialist, Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) Engineer at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in integrating software and hardware components to ensure top-quality network solutions. Your mission will involve breaking down complex requirements into actionable user stories, conducting thorough testing, and troubleshooting challenging issues. By providing our xPON ONT systems that meet customer specifications, you will directly contribute to delivering exceptional quality and performance.

• Analyses, designs, develops, and tests products/services/improvements/bug resolutions for integrated hardware/software systems as per customers' requirements.
• Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems/issues (EG, hardware, software, combination) and provides resolution or recommends corrective actions.
• Plan technical requirements based on customers' needs.
• Develops SW / HW build-controlled production releases (EG , main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).
• Defines product hardware/software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware/software documentation, hardware/software change control management, supplier and customer notifications.
• Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
• Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.
• Applies the Software Care process (especially in emergency case handling), contributing when needed to the fastest restoration of problems.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, 5-10 years of experience in Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) related field.
• Cloud Technologies – AWS, Azure Micro Services.Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts deployment.
• Good knowledge of routing and switching is preferred. Automation test script experience on Python and shell is mandatory.
• Exposure to Ethernet, Layer 2, Layer 3, TCP/IP technologies.
