Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Lead Developer, you will serve as both a hands-on engineer and team leader (player-coach). You will design and scale backend systems, mentor junior developers, and ensure the delivery of robust, high-performance APIs and services that power our AdTech platforms. This role combines technical depth, architectural decision-making, and team leadership to drive critical business outcomes.

Objectives

  • Architect, design, and optimize scalable APIs and backend systems using

  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance with data privacy/security standards.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale, distributed backend services.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code while reviewing and guiding others' contributions.
  • Conduct design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
  • Drive integrations with Google Analytics, third-party APIs, and ad exchanges.
  • Champion best practices for performance tuning, monitoring, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in , cloud-native development, and AdTech technologies.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture through mentorship and leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (exceptional coding performance on LeetCode/HackerRank may substitute).
  • 6–10 years of backend engineering experience with , including at least 2+ years in a lead/mentorship role.
  • Expertise in NestJS or frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, web protocols, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Exposure to Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency with Git/version control and collaborative workflows.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act as a player-coach (individual contributor + team lead).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with AdTech platforms (display, mobile, video advertising).
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms, marketing systems, and programmatic advertising ecosystems.
