Role Summary

The Executive Design will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating interior design projects under the supervision of the Design Lead. The role involves working as part of a larger design and projects team at Olive, contributing to concept creation, detailing, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and translate concepts into 3D models, renderings, and walkthroughs using tools like SketchUp or Revit.
  • Prepare a complete set of working and detailed drawings for in-house interior design projects.
  • Assist in managing multiple vendors and supervise interior work on-site to ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Support in preparing cost estimates, sketches, layouts, and specifications relevant to project development.
  • Suggest color schemes, furniture, materials, and finishes aligned with the brands aesthetic.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders vendors, procurement teams, and site teams — for seamless project execution.
  • Prepare project progress reports and proactively resolve on-site challenges.
  • Conduct site investigations and design due diligence for existing buildings.
  • Maintain a strong sense of brand aesthetics and design quality in all deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Arch or Degree in Interior Design

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably in a reputed Architecture or ID firm.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in the following tools is required:

  • AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
  • SketchUp or equivalent 3D modelling software
  • Photoshop, V-Ray, 3ds Max, or other rendering tools
  • Adobe InDesign / CorelDRAW / equivalent illustration software
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Awareness and enthusiasm for AI-based design tools
