Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems across our school. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving technical issues efficiently to support our educational mission.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals (e.g., desktops, laptops, projectors, printers, and interactive whiteboards).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including network connectivity problems, in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on school IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist faculty and staff with technical support requests, including software setup and user account management.
  • Set up and support classroom technology, such as smartboards, tablets, and learning management systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement security protocols and ensure data protection.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and report on system performance or upgrades needed.
  • Provide basic training to staff and students on using school technology effectively.
  • Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with networking basics (e.g., Wi-Fi, LAN, TCP/IP) and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Experience with educational technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, learning management systems) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹12,000.00 per month
