Job Title: Waiter / Service Staff
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Outlet Manager
Job Summary:
The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests. The role requires attentiveness, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously.
Present menu options and make recommendations when requested.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
Serve food and drinks in an efficient and professional manner.
Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for the next guests.
Handle customer complaints or requests politely and inform the supervisor if needed.
Process bills and handle payments correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
Follow all company policies, service standards, and safety procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Neat appearance and positive attitude.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
Minimum: High School / 10th Pass (or equivalent)
Hospitality training or certification preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹14, ₹28,000.00 per month
